F is for Fantasy

Aug. 31st, 2007 | 03:49 pm
location: bedroom
mood: excited excited
music: Lying is the Most Fun a Girl Can Have Without Taking Her Clothes off - P!ATD

Title: F is for Fantasy
Author: Kyuu [masochiistic]
Pairing(s) : Aiji + Jun + Aiji
About: Jun doesn't understand what she means when she says, He's not real.
Disclaimer: Blah. If I did, I'd make Aiji/Jun happy together for Six. XD
Notes: Written for TK, aka, Six, because I said I would so long ago. I hope you like. (: And, as another side note, please take not that none of the letters are related. XD; Each is a different pairing/story.
Past Letters: [A][B][C][D][E]

“I don’t believe you,” he breathed, slowly, softly.

“I’m not expecting you to. Not yet.” It was a cold, but logical, response, although it confused the man nonetheless.

Jun’s eyebrows furrowed. “I saw him this morning...” He knew exactly what he’d seen.

The women across from him smiled patiently, sadly, and tapped her pen against the clipboard under her. She wrote down something, and Jun could see her swift writing, the way her letters all looped perfectly, connecting at just the right spots, much like how his life had once been. He thought his life was fine, but the woman in front of him said differently.

“Jun,” she said, tone slightly clipped, “that’s impossible. You merely believe you saw him.”

Jun wasn’t sure if he thought it was smart or not to point out that he was sure the other was most definitely alive, but his eyes wondered to the floor, traveling around. They rested on wooden toy blocks. He could only assume they were for her younger patients, the easier way to keep their attention and getting information without them really noticing. Gullible, children were.

Jun hoped he was a little bit different than that.

He shrugged.

The silence that lingered after was something Jun would have labeled awkward, though if the woman across from him were asked, he knew she’d say something completely different from his own thoughts; after all, she was the doctor, and he was merely the patient.

“Jun’ichi,” she said, tone soft, and Jun vaguely wondered if this was how she spoke to her younger patients. It seemed plausible. “Tell me what you talk about with him.”

“Aiji,” he said, supplying her with the name she already knew but refused to use. “We talk about a lot of things. Sometimes it’s the weather, sometimes it’s about where we want to go, and sometimes it’s about the future.” There were other things, of course, but Jun didn’t feel the need to tell her everything about his life. She already didn’t believe him, so it seemed pointless to tell her unnecessary things.

She reached for his hand, but he always kept it just out of her grasp.

The session seemed more prolonged than normal, but Jun didn’t question her on that, either. She was probably just as anxious to get his session done with as he was.

He left her at four in the afternoon, feeling more and more tired with every step to his house, hardly bothering to drive anywhere lately. He was more likely to crash in to an innocent pedestrian, and that was the last thing he needed to do. One more wrong mark and Jun’ichi knew he’d be off to some looney house, and he knew, he knew he wasn’t insane or crazy, or any of the other terms they were trying to label him with.

He opened the door, welcomed only by the bell on Rill’s collar. He smiled, leaning down to pet her as she rubbed against his leg. She basked in his touch, and he noted that she’d probably been waiting for his return before he’d even left. He picked her up, holding her painfully close to his chest, and sat down in the nearest recliner, already jabbering to her about the whole ordeal.

He sat down on the chair in the living room, not bothering to turn on the TV, and he sat down, preparing to wait, once again, for Aiji to return home.

She sighed, setting the clipboard back down on the desk that was in front of her. Jun’ichi wouldn’t understand. Not ever, she knew, but she wasn’t supposed to question what had been told to her, wasn’t supposed to utter a word to the boy. She’d come close to it, painfully, had even almost said she knew Jun was telling the truth, but she couldn’t. She’d have gotten in so much trouble.. More than she’d have been able to handle.

But then..there were a lot of things Jun didn’t remember, either.

She knew Aiji had been real, had been alive, but.. Jun didn’t realize that had been years ago. Her only goal was to make him forget what he thought was still real.

The details were vague, as they hadn’t let her in on much, but all she could honestly say was that Aiji was no longer around. Jun’s Aiji was gone, and that was as simple as it could get. But it didn’t make a difference, because in three days, Jun’ichi would be back, and they’d repeat the process all over again.

Thursday would come around, and she’d tell him the exact same thing she’d told him today: Aiji wasn’t real.

E is for Engaged

Jun. 9th, 2007 | 06:16 pm

Title: E is for Engaged
Author: Kyuu [masochiistic]
Pairing(s) : Reita + Kai
About: When hidden bandroom sex turns into a question of marriage, Kai isn't sure what to say.
Disclaimer: If only.
Notes: Bad summary, I know.
Past Letters: [A][B][C][D]

The sound was soft, it was quiet, it was almost nonexistent, but it was there.

Uruha probably would have missed it, had it not been for him passing the room from which the sounds emitted. He could hear hushed voices, the dominant voice, one that clearly belonged to Reita, telling the other to quiet down. Who the other was, he didn’t know, and he was sure if he stayed, he’d figure it out.

“Kai,” Reita whispered, keeping his lips close to the ear of the other, “I have something to tell you…”

Kai found it impossible to believe that now, when he was so close that his body was convulsing, that Reita would dare stop his hand from continuing it’s previous action. “Now,” he breathed, “is not.. a good time!”

“It’s a perfect time,” came the response. “Here, with you so compliant..”

“Then out with it!” Kai yelled, tilting his head back against the wall, whimpering as the hand of the other started against his flushed skin again.

“Marry me,” he whispered, nipping at the other’s neck softly, tongue tracing a random pattern.

Kai stopped breathing.

There was no way Reita was serious. It seemed improbable, and even though they had kept their relationship a secret for almost a year now, and when they fought it was petty, but to marry would be jeopardizing everything, everything from their career to their friendships. What if… what if Aoi had kept some secret crush on Reita, and suddenly he didn’t like either of them anymore? Or what if they broke up? Would that be to much of a strain on the band? This was too much to take at once, and he buried himself into Reita’s neck.

“Rei-chan…we can’t,” Kai whispered back, biting his lip. Somehow, despite the awkwardness of his most valued possession being blatantly shown wasn’t nearly as awkward as explaining that you couldn’t marry the person you loved.

“Why not? Because we’re both guys?” Reita snapped, though in a rather contradictive way as his arms became a gentle hold on Kai.

It was then, Kai realized, that he hadn’t even considered that. Who would marry two guys? But he shook his head. “There’s so much at risk…” Slowly, the need for release was leaving, his mind more focused elsewhere, and he hastened to fix his pants.

But Reita apparently did not see the same way. “What is there to lose, Kai? I’m not asking you run out to the tabloids and tell them. I’m not even saying the others have to know. We can run away to America and—”

“That would bring even more attention to us,” Kai interjected.

“I don’t care, Kai!” Reita stepped back from the drummer --his drummer boy—and sighed. “I just… I just want you. Forever.” Reita noticed Kai smile, his dimples accentuated by the blush that adorned them as well.

“Reita… If… if I say yes, will you… let me chose the day?” Kai finally said, biting his lip in that unsure way.

Reita looked up, holding his breath. It seemed almost too easy now, and he nodded.

“Then… yes.”

Time momentarily stopped, and Reita knew he wasn’t breathing, knew nothing except for the fact that he’d have Kai for eternity, and even that didn’t seem long enough. He hadn’t noticed Kai walk over to him, hardly noticed he was being kissed till pressure was added, and then he gave it his all, biting gently on the lower lip of the smaller, basking in the happy sound that was given back to him. When air from their noses were no longer sufficient, both pulled back.

Kai’s earlier protests were either gone or suddenly insufficient.

“When should… should well tell everyone?” Kai whispered.

“Later. Not today,” Reita replied, hardly daring to speak to loud, afraid of marring the moment.

They both walked out, slowly, neither daring to look at the other, though both smiling profusely.

They were both a bit shocked when the first thing they heard was the soft, amused voice of Uruha saying, “Congratulations.”
